Contemporary meets tradition
12th June 2017
Purbeck stone looks great wherever it is used but in its natural habitat in Dorset it really comes into its own. Here it has been used in a contemporary house design as well as for boundary walling with traditional cock and hens coping.
The darker bluey/grey Purbeck complements the window frames and paler beige tones have been used for window arches, quoins, keystones and cills.
